Invitech’s acquisition has been completed

4iG's telecommunications portfolio has expanded with one of Hungary's leading telecommunications and infrastructure service companies

4iG PLC (“4iG” “Group”) became the owner of Invitech ICT Services Kft. (“Invitech”), after last week’s approval of the Hungarian Competition Authority (“GVH”) and today’s financial closure of the transaction. With the acquisition, 4iG has taken another significant step in order to become one of the key players in the telecommunications market in Hungary and in the region, in addition to IT.

Thanks to the transaction, a prominent player in the Hungarian telecommunications and IT network market will join the 4iG Group. Together, 4iG and Invitech are already one of the leading players in Hungary in several areas of infocommunication services. The value of the company is represented by more than 600 employees, 5,000 customers and the country's second largest own, 11,000-kilometer-long optical backbone network, all while operating 23,000 customer end-user IT devices and five in-house data centers. Invitech’s infrastructure services are used by all domestic mobile operators.
