Extraordinary Announcement of 4iG Plc.

Regarding the Operation of the Gondosóra Program

In accordance with the transparency and compliance requirements applicable to listed issuers, 4iG Plc. (“4iG”) hereby responds to the misleading and potentially market-influencing information published recently regarding the operation of the Gondosóra Program. In order to clarify these matters, the company informs its shareholders and the public of the following:
The social utility of the Gondosóra Program is beyond dispute. Therefore, 4iG welcomes the Hungarian state's decision to continue operating the service built by the company. As in the past, 4iG will continue to cooperate with the state in the future to ensure that users can access the service continuously and with unchanged quality.

The company has supported the handover process as a constructive partner from the very beginning. Although under the contract, the software developed for the program, its documentation, and the equipment should be handed over at the end of the service period, on December 31, 2026, the most critical parts were already made available to the state in September. By doing so, the company aims to ensure that the transition in January is as seamless as possible for more than 1 million users.

4iG strongly denies any allegations regarding the overpricing of its services provided in the Gondosóra Program. For the entire 2022–2026 service period, the company expects a net revenue of HUF 66.8 billion, with an average profit margin on sales of only 4.8 percent over the five years. In addition to operating the program and providing the care watches, the service fee also covered the entire IT development and the build-up of the technical background infrastructure. Upon the closure of the contract, the company will transfer software and equipment worth approximately HUF 30 billion (calculated at development cost), along with the related documentation, to state ownership free of charge.

When comparing previous service fees with future operating costs, it must be taken into account that thanks to the transferred software and equipment assets—valued at tens of billions of forints—the future operator will no longer have to bear the full costs of build-up, procurement, and development. Therefore, next year's budget framework can only be compared with operating tasks of different content, and it is only worthwhile to draw conclusions after the handover process is complete. In light of the above facts and data, the fees for the services provided by 4iG in the Gondosóra Program are competitive by both domestic and international market standards.
