Extraordinary Announcement of 4iG Nyrt.
On signing major strategy agreements
4iG Public Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as: “4iG”) hereby informs the participants of the capital market that
today 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Private Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as “4iG SDT”) has signed four major
strategy space and defence industry agreements.
4iG SDT and Northrop Grumman International Trading Inc. (registered seat: 2980 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, Virginia
22042, USA; hereinafter referred to as: “Northrop Grumman”) have concluded two agreements.
Under the terms of the first agreement, as part of the HUSAT programme, Northrop Grumman delivers Hungary’s first geostationary
communications satellite (HUGEO). The satellite - built on the GEOStar-3 platform and already proven in previous missions
- is scheduled for delivery in 2030, the project represents the largest international industrial collaboration within the
HUSAT programme.
Under the second agreement, 4iG SDT and Northrop Grumman expand their existing framework agreement - signed in last December
- to include joint programmes - beyond space industry projects – also in counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), advanced
weapon technology and precision guidance systems.
In addition to the above, 4iG SDT has signed today a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an U.S. company, L3Harris
Global Communications Inc. (registered seat: 1350 Jefferson Road, Rochester, New York, 14623 USA) opening new cooperation
opportunities in defence digitalisation and local industrial integration of HIMARS systems, further reinforcing its role in
the regional development of NATO-compatible technologies.
4iG SDT and Remred Ltd. have jointly signed a non-binding tripartite agreement with leading U.S. small satellite platform
manufacturer Apex Technology Inc. (registered seat: 9000 Regency Square Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211, USA) on the conditions
for establishing a joint venture. The agreement aims to develop a European-based, scalable mass small satellite manufacturing
capacity, expressly designed to support multi-satellite systems (constellations).
