The Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy (NGM) signed a comprehensive
defence-industry framework agreement at the Istanbul meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, held as part
of the Hungarian–Turkish prime ministerial summit on 8 December 2025. The agreement sets new directions for professional and
technological cooperation between the two countries.
Following the meeting, 4iG Group announced on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange the signing of three strategic agreements
with leading Turkish defence and investment companies. These partnerships represent a big move in deepening Hungarian-Turkish
economic relations and open opportunities for joint development initiatives and industrial cooperation.
“Türkiye is a strategic partner for the Hungarian defence industry. The agreements we signed today strengthen the technological
and economic cooperation between our countries, and support the joint efforts to enhance competitiveness in the market for
NATO-compatible technologies, both in Hungary and in the region. These partnerships attract high value-added developments
and manufacturing capacities to Hungary, creating significant value for our Group and for the Hungarian economy as well,” said Gellért Jászai, Chairman of 4iG Group, commenting on the agreements announced today.
Exclusive Automotive Defence Partnership with Nurol Makina
Under the strategic agreement concluded with Nurol Makina, 4iG SDT acquires exclusive distribution rights in Hungary for the
sale of Gidran armoured tactical vehicles until 2030. The Gidran — the Hungarian variant of the Ejder Yalçın vehicle family
manufactured by Nurol Makina — is NATO-compatible, state-of-the-art armoured combat platform already commissioned by the Hungarian
Defence Forces.
The agreement between 4iG SDT and Nurol Makina complements the existing industrial and manufacturing cooperation between Rába
and Nurol Makina. Following the completion of the acquisition of RÁBA Automotive Holding, the full value chain of the Hungarian
Gidran programme — from manufacturing to sales to maintenance — will be integrated and implemented within a single corporate
group in a coordinated manner.

implement future projects. Through the planned company, the partners aim to create a centre in Hungary for development, production
and sale of defence communication systems — including remote-controlled weapon stations (RCWS), counter-drone and air-defence
solutions, as well as related support services. The cooperation may also create opportunities for additional joint defence-industry
business projects in the future.

of electronic warfare and communication systems, air-defence and counter-drone solutions, as well as radar and intelligence
systems. With its advanced technologies, Aselsan is presented in numerous NATO and international markets, and its products

“Through the agreements signed today, we establish technological and industrial partnerships that will expand capacities and
deliver measurable capability enhancements for Hungary’s defence industry. Our programmes with Nurol Makina and Aselsan not
only ensure access to modern systems and equipment, but also support the creation of a development and manufacturing environment
capable of sustaining a regionally competitive ecosystem over the long term. I am confident that these collaborations provides
a solid foundation for the advancement of Hungarian defence-technology sector and the strengthens its regional role,” said Dr. István Sárhegyi, CEO of 4iG SDT.
