Extraordinary Announcement of 4iG Nyrt.

On a fine imposed on a subsidiary

4iG Plc. (“4iG”) hereby informs the capital market participants that the Hungarian Competition Authority has imposed a fine on One Magyarország Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság(registered seat: 1112 Budapest, Boldizsár utca 2., company registration number: 01-10-044159, hereinafter the “Company”), which is owned by 4iG ComCo Holding Zrt. (registered seat: 1013 Budapest, Krisztina körút 39., company registration number: 01-10-142446), which is a subsidiary majority-owned by 4iG - as a result of the follow-up investigation procedure initiated in 2025 to verify the fulfillment of the commitments made against its legal predecessor UPC Magyarország Telekommunikációs Kft. (“UPC”) in 2015 in the proceedings concerning the conditions of the internet service in district 29.

The Hungarian Competition Authority found that the vast majority of the commitments were fulfilled by UPC, and then by its former owner Vodafone Hungary Zrt., which some measures were only implemented after the set deadline, and the fulfillment of certain commitments was not adequately certified.
