Extraordinary Announcement of 4iG Nyrt.
On concluding an agreement of high importance
4iG Public Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as: “4iG”) hereby informs the participants of the capital market that
today a frequency license agreement(hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”) was signed between 4iG Space andDefence Technologies
Private Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as “4iG SDT”)and EUTELSAT SA connected to frequency usage rights and orbital
positions affectingthe performance of the HUSAT program announced on 20 November 2024.
The HUSAT program is the largest satellite program in Hungary and the CEE region which is initiated and financed by the private
sector. The 4iG SDT plans to launch one geostationary telecommunication satellite (HUGEO) and eight low Earth orbit VHR[1] Earth observation satellites (HULEO) in the framework of the HUSAT programme by 2032 and operate them during their lifetime.
The HULEO constellation will consist of six electro-optical satellites (HUEOP) and two synthetic aperture radar satellites
(HUSAR).
Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed in August 2025 (hereinafter referred to as: ”MoU”) EUTELSAT SA will grant to
4iG SDT the exclusive license to use designated frequency resources from within the Eutelsat frequency assignments filed with
the International Telecommunication Union at the Orbital Location as operated under the relevant authorisations granted by
the French authorities.
Based on the MoU, the Parties concluded a frequency license agreement which contributes significantly to the successful operation
of the HUSAT program.
EUTELSAT SA is a leading multi orbit satellite operator which operates its own satellites with a track record of more than
fourty years in operating a fleet of satellites – currently 34 telecommunications satellites in GEO and approximately 600
in LEO - and it manages orbital rights and frequencies in cooperation with international and French regulatory authorities.
