Extraordinary Announcement of 4iG Nyrt.
On concluding a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding
4iG Public Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as: “4iG”) hereby informs the participants of the capital market that
today a cooperation agreement including a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as: “Agreement”)
was signed between 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Private Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as “4iG S&D”) - a member
of the 4iG Group - andHM Electronics, Logistics and Property Management Private Company Limited byShares (hereinafter referred
to as: “HM EI”) in order to explore strategiccooperation opportunities in the field of defence digitalisation and toidentify
opportunities for cooperation based on mutual benefits.
The Agreement specifies that 4iG S&D and HM EI are open to cooperation in several key areas of defence digitalisation, in
particular software development, system integration, operations, IT and telecommunications infrastructure development and
cybersecurity. As a possible form of cooperation, the parties will also examine the possibility of establishing a joint venture
to provide a structured framework for technology development and efficient implementation of domestic and international projects.
HM EI is a key player in the Hungarian defence industry, a 100% state-owned, profit-oriented large-scale enterprise providing
high-tech IT and technical developments and solutions for the Hungarian Defence Forces, the Ministry of Defence and other
state bodies.
4iG Plc. is one of the largest infocommunication and technology company groups in Hungary. 4iG S&D - the subsidiary of 4iG
Plc. - is engaged in satellite manufacturing, earth observation, data transmission and analysis, UAS manufacturing and counter
UAS, and the development of advanced defence digitalisation systems. 4iG S&D may acquire a majority stake in N7 Defence Plc.
as a result of the acquisition announced on 11 June 2025, which is currently in progress. The aim of the acquisition is to
exploit synergies between innovative defence industries and the classic defence industry, to increase the exportability of
domestic defence products and to support the entry into the global market.
