Extraordinary Announcement of 4iG Plc.

On signing a contract of high importance

4iG Public Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as: “4iG”) hereby informs the participants of the capital market that today a contract of high importance was signed between 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Private Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as “4iG S&D”) - a member of the 4iG Group - and CPI Vertex Antennentechnik GmbH connected to the performance of the HUSAT program announced on 20 November 2024. 

The scope of the contract covers procurement and installation of the antennas in two Hungarian locations as part of the ground segments for both HUGEO and HULEO program elements within the HUSAT program. To perform the contract, CPI Vertex Antennentechnik GmbH will deliver and install central antenna systems - a total of 8 parabolic antennas with a diameter of 9-11.5 meters - and associated radio frequency equipment for 4iG S&D under the management and supervision of Hungaro DigiTel Telecommunications Private Limited Company (registered office at 2, str. Komp, H-2310 Szigetszentmiklós, Lakihegy, company registration number: Cg. 13-09-070878), a member of the 4iG Group. 

The HUSAT program is the largest satellite program in Hungary and the CEE region, which is initiated and financed by the private sector. The 4iG S&D plans to launch one geostationary telecommunication satellite (HUGEO) and eight low Earth orbit VHR Earth observation satellites (HULEO) in the framework of the HUSAT programme by 2032 and operate them during their lifetime. The HULEO constellation will consists of six electro-optical satellites (HUEOP) and two synthetic aperture radar satellites (HUSAR). 

CPI VERTEX ANTENNENTECHNIK GmbH has been manufacturing antenna systems since 1963 and is a world leader in the supply of ground satellite stations, precision antenna systems, and radio telescopes.
