4iG Space and Defence expands management with industry leaders and military experts
Company organises operations into five divisions, each to be led by professionals with domestic and international experience.
- 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Zrt. (4iG SDT) established five distinct business divisions aligned with market requirements
and strategic focus areas, expanding operations with two new fields further.
- To support this new corporate structure, 4iG SDT announced the arrival of new executives and experts with decades of domestic
and international experience in the space and defence industry.
- The new Deputy CEO, Gergely Sántha, brings pivotal economic and organisational expertise, drawing on his experience in investment and executive positions.

In recent times, 4iG Group took major steps to strengthen its presence in the defence sector. 4iG SDT established new strategic
areas adapted to its target markets, corporate competencies, and portfolio companies, and organises its operations into five
main divisions: Space, Aero, Land Systems, Weapons and Ammunition, and Cyber and Defence Digitalisation.
As part of the ongoing expansion in the space and defence sector, 4iG SDT strengthens its top management with six internationally
recognised professionals from October 2025. The extensive experience the new leaders represent is paramount in reinforcing
4iG SDT’s market position in Hungary and internationally, as well as in delivering on long-term strategic objectives.

Gergely Sántha joins 4iG SDT as Deputy CEO, bringing more than twenty years’ executive experience in the economic, financial, investment,
and sports sectors. Previously he held senior management roles at Raiffeisen Bank and Arago Investment Holding. As CEO of
Észak-Magyarországi Fejlesztési Zrt., he gained extensive experience in managing strategic development projects and major
corporate integrations.
Renato Bellarosa has been appointed Director of Satellite Programmes. With more than 25 years in space industry, he held senior positions
at Airbus Defence and Space in Italy and in the United Kingdom, such as Chief Operating Officer, Director of Satellite and
SATCOM Programmes, and Head of Propulsion Products and Programmes. He participated in numerous European Space Agency and commercial
missions, such as BepiColombo, Solar Orbiter, LISA Pathfinder, and JUICE, as well as geostationary satellite telecommunications
projects.
Viktor Hajsó joins as Head of Aero Division, bringing more than 30 years of professional experience in the aviation and aircraft maintenance.
He previously held senior leadership roles at Malév and Aeroplex, managing large-scale fleet replacement and maintenance programmes.
He also served as Deputy CEO for Engineering and Maintenance Services at the Sayegh Group in the United Arab Emirates and
worked as a consultant in aviation and industry services in Hungary and internationally.
Szilárd Gerőfi, Head of Defence Digitalisation, joined 4iG SDT earlier this year following thirty-six-year military service. His previous
roles include Chief of Staff at EUFOR Sarajevo mission, Chief of the Infocommunications and Information Security Directorate,
Hungarian Defence Forces General Staff, and senior positions in NATO and EU military organisations. With a background in electrical
and military engineering, he contributes extensive expertise to 4iG SDT’s defence digitalisation, IT, and cybersecurity systems.
László Tömböl joins as Chief Military Advisor to the CEO, following more than four decades in the military and defence industry. In 2009–2010
he was serving as Chief of Staff of the Hungarian Defence Forces. Earlier, as the first commander of the Hungarian Defence
Forces Joint Forces Command, helped to establish a new command structure. As National Armaments Director and Government Commissioner,
he coordinated air force and air defence projects within Zrínyi 2026 Defence Development Programme. His service was recognised
with several international merits, including the French Legion of Honour, the German Golden Cross of Honour, and the Italian
Order of Merit.
Nándor Kilián joins 4iG SDT as Chief Aviation Advisor. His extensive operational and flight safety experience provides significant value
to the company. Following more than forty years of service, he retired from the Hungarian Defence Forces with the rank of
Major General. Throughout his military career, he served as Commander of the MH 59 “Szentgyörgyi Dezső” Air Base in Kecskemét,
Air Force Inspector at the Command of the Hungarian Defence Forces, and Military and Air Attaché representing Hungary in several
Scandinavian countries.
