Poli Computer now owned by 4iG

In February, 4iG Plc. announced that it will acquire 100% of Poli Computer PC Ltd. through a two-step transaction. The transaction was closed today following the company’s asset valuation and the approval of the Hungarian Competition Authority (HCA). With the acquisition of the company, 4iG has become the market leader in the field of outsourced and managed IT services in Hungary.

4iG Plc., the large IT company, announced on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange that it has closed the acquisition of Poli Computer PC Ltd. In a change from the preliminary announcement in February, 4iG’s board of directors decided not to acquire the 100% stake in the company from KZF Vagyonkezelő Kft. (KZF Property Management Ltd.) by way of purchase, but on the basis of an asset valuation by PwC Hungary.

The IT Group is taking significant steps to continuously increase its competencies and strengthen its position among the major IT companies in Hungary. The acquisition of Poli Computer PC fits well into 4iG’s growth strategy. As a result of the transaction, 4iG will have a total of 612 professionals working in the field of IT outsourcing and operational services within the 4iG group. Based on the expected revenues from this activity, the number of employees and the Group’s orders, 4iG will become the market leader in this IT segment in Hungary.
